The Cusp of Spring Break

written: March 11th

Ah, lazy Sunday.  And given that it’s the Sunday that begins Spring Break for me, it’s even more delicious and lazy and just MINE.

David’s still puttering around in his room, working on various guitar projects of his.  Josey and I have napped and chilled outside.  Sadly, the Asshole Dog Neighbors are ALSO on Spring Break, so they are out in their yard more.  Just sucks that we share a fence, and their dogs have to bark at ALL THE THINGS, ALL THE TIME, so it’s not like you can be outside, enjoying the gorgeous weather without those four lil shit dogs ruining it with their non-stop barking.  One of these days, David and I will have our amazing cabin the in the woods of Tennessee and we won’t have to worry about neighbors at all.  The goal is to have 500 acres or so, and put our cabin in the middle!  That’ll solve the issues neighbors can create.  ::chuckles::

Honestly, I seriously would love it to have a privacy fence across the back of our side yard and a taller gate in the front.  That way I could just let Josey out in the yard whenever she wants (and when the asshole neighbor dogs aren’t out) and not worry about her getting excited about seeing a human and trying to jump the fence.  ::chuckles::  Shit, while we are talking about wants, I would LOVE to have a small screened in porch that had a doggie door that led to the yard as well.  That way I could sit in the screened in area, working on journals, letters, or just read (free of bugs), and she could be out in the yard, doing her own thing, but I could still keep an eye on her just in case.  Because she likes to eat grass and dirt and woodchips and shit, so she really can’t be out there 100% on her own.  ::laughs::
