Rough Earth Snake
Caught my 2nd snake of the year today, and again it was at the
elementary school that I work at. Who would have thought this would be
the hot-spot for small herps?
A tiny Rough Earth Snake (Virginia striatula):
This guy’s tiny. To put the size into perspective, he’s inside a 2-liter soda bottle (that’s been cleaned out and is safe).
