One of two smooth earth snakes I caught at Paula’s as she was digging up a rose bush she was giving to me. I need to get a photo of the rose bush that is now residing in my completely unused backyard, but I’m thinking I’ll wait until it blooms. It has the most beautiful, deep red, MASSIVE ball blossoms apparently. Hopefully I can keep it alive! ::laughs::
